KATHY EDWARDS
I have been an active member of Benicia Fastpitch since 1996. I started serving as Scorekeeper Coordinator as well as held clinics on Scorekeeping and moved on to Concessions, Outlaw Director,
Tournament Director, Uniforms Director, as well as been President for the past 3 years. We have navigated Covid together. I have also coached each division of Rookie, Farm, Junior, Minor, Major and Senior house league teams. I have taken on numerous travel teams, one of which took 3 rd in Nationals and 1 st in the NSA World Series. I also hold close relationships with every director of ASA/USA Softball in Northern and Southern California since 1994 and count them as friends. I have one on one connections with the City of Benicia Parks & Rec as well as Benicia Unified. I have coached Varsity at Benicia High School but found myself loving to coach and mentor the JV team for many years. Although I took a couple of years off, I returned to Benicia Fastpitch in 2018 to start all over again with my only Granddaughter Charlie. The love and dedication to all my girls on all my teams and in BFP continues. I can routinely mention each and every girl I have coached over the years, where they are in life and brag about their accomplishments as if they were one of my own. Over the years, I have proven to be an enthusiastic coach and mentor to other coaches, players and parents. To date I have personally coached over 250 girls but I know I have learned just as much from them as they did from me. I am like
a bottle of good red wine….I only get better with age.

AMBER ROBINSON
I have three girls (age 6, 11 & 12) whose passion for this sport is both undeniable and infectious. Although I am not a Benicia native, I have fallen in love with this town and its people since
moving here. The sport of youth softball is growing like no other, growing from a fleeting spring pastime to a year around machine. Since joining the BFP board in 2021 I have both helped and contributed my time and knowledge to make the 2022 season happen as the registrar, uniforms director, social media manager, assistant coach and a team mom. With daughters in both our rec and Outlaw program I feel I offer a unique perspective that will result in representing all our athletes fairly. The girls in our community deserve representation and a support system that will always put their needs and best interest first. I love what this league has given our girls, and I hope to be able to help it evolve to give them even more. I have seen and been a part of teams and leagues throughout California, and I know that my experience can only help our league grow and evolve like the sport we all love. Communication, transparency, and integrity are essential in leadership; I am determined to ensure that all our players and their families receive equal representation and opportunity by maintaining those core values.

I'm a mechanical engineer with an MBA and did volunteer work in Florida with dog rescue and local domestic violence shelters.
I've been in California since last March, and look forward to more softball with my daughter, and baseball with my son.
